Counter Culture: Life in the Kingdom of God | Introduction

Doubting God in Front of God | Psalm 22

We’re going to talk about doubt this morning. And about pain, and suffering, and that agonizing, debilitating feeling that maybe God has abandoned you. And we’re going to talk about what it looks like to pray through these emotions, in community, under the reign of Jesus, and in the hope of resurrection. What does it look like to doubt God faithfully? Is that even possible? Can I question God and still believe? Can I have all of these doubts and still follow Jesus faithfully? I think these are important questions to ask, and I stand before you this morning, first and foremost with good news: that I believe the answer to those questions is a resounding yes.
